Play dough drama!!

Last week, my son’s teacher sent an email to all the parents, asking us to bake play dough. Firstly, I did not even know that play dough could be baked. Secondly, I panicked a little because I have never baked anything successfully, in my entire life, EVER!!! It’s not that I don’t try, but I am so, so lame. It would be best if I gave up altogether. Not so long ago, I baked some brownies for Kyle’s class and all the kids complained to him!! Ha!!! So play dough?!!

But then I thought to myself, “Well, nobody is going to eat it so who cares if it’s not great! As long as it is “play-doughey” looking! I took the recipe and started. I had to do two batches because the first one looked like gooey, sticky white stuff. So I did a second batch, this time following EXACTLY the recipe to the letter. Kyle was supposed to use the play dough to do a landform at school. Well, take a look, some landform it is….

Yeah? See it now? Oh, and in case you are wondering, my son says that my play dough was THE ABSOLUTE WORST. I don’t know why I even bothered…
