Where do whiskers go?

Around the nose? Or around the mouth?

Well, I have seen many cats on two legs at Halloween – by that, I mean kids with cat costumes. Almost all of them had whiskers drawn around their nose. I am saying almost, because one of them did not: Skye! Her whiskers were around her mouth. As I was the only parent who thought whiskers go around the mouth, I got a little offended. Why did I get it wrong? How come everybody knows about this BUT me? I got really upset, all I could talk about was whiskers, whiskers, whiskers…..  My boys advised to ‘Let it go, Mom, who cares where whiskers go”. Well, I DO!!! And I was certainly NOT going to let it go!! So I did some research. And here is what I found: whiskers go BETWEEN the nose and the mouth, so HA!!!!!! I am only half wrong, and so is everybody else. Here is the proof…..
